Dialoghi con la comunità. Cura e gestione di un patrimonio dissonante

This paper deals with the theme of “heritage care” by investigating the role of Heritage Communities in the participatory processes of conservation and management of the Galla Placidia Line, a coastal defence system built during the II World War, along the Adriatic coast. The text briefly describes the scientific rediscovery of the Line; then, it discusses the critical and joint confrontation with local voluntary associations to co-design guidelines for the conscious care of bunkers through preventive conservation strategies.
