Fabrianensium Dispersorum Codicum Fragmenta: i frammenti manoscritti della Biblioteca "R. Sassi" di Fabriano

A significant number of reuse fragments from Fabriano area sheds light on the connection developed at the beginning of XX Century between academics and the most important local cultural institutions and provides further evidence on the economical and social conditions of the “paper city” at the end of the Middle Ages. Here we remember the work of Augusto Zonghi and the fragments organization carried out by Nicola Perini (1906-1912). Each fragments has its own history that’s why studing those flaps of a past that still gives voice to memories it’s not just a recovery operation but also a daily exciting discovery.
