The essay examines the discipline of the freight forwarder’s activity, after the modification of the provisions of the Civil Code, according to Article 30 bis of decree - law 152/2021, converted with modifications by the law 233/2021. The Author highlights the will of the legislator to emphasize the activity for the qualification of the contract and stresses how the new regulation solves practical issues; so, now, the freight forwarder can act on the basis of a mandate with or without representation, or can conclude multiple transport contracts, even with different carriers.
