The dynamics of reconstituted myelin membranes were studied by$ackslash$nincoherent neutron scattering when the myelin basic protein was added.$ackslash$nThe mutant C8 has properties similar to the highly modified form seen in$ackslash$nMultiple Sclerosis patients and tends to bring the membrane in a more$ackslash$nflexible state. This might be an important element to shed light on the$ackslash$nassociated pathology.
