The space in contemporary , Human behavior in built environment

Sheikh Omar is one of 13 neighbourhoods within the Rusafa District of Eastern Baghdad. Some parts of Sheikh Omar have evolved into low amenity industrial zones which do not make best use of such a central location and which are therefore to be relocated to new industrial locations nearer the city edge. Because this region suffered from a physical profound change as a result of the omission of Human Studies. These opportunities allow the redevelopment of the area of Sheikh Omar This thesis analyzes the possibility of re-development of the area of Sheikh Omar . It applies a set of urban design principles, based particularly on research concerning open space design and distribution and their effects on human behaviour, to align the design of the new physical environment more closely to the needs and benefit of its users. In this way Human Studies, and when combined with the consideration of the physical design with urban space, can create a more sustainable urban model with long-term benefits for the residents and the city. The case study is an analysis of the problems of the region, which led to the deterioration of the urban environment and to make suggestions for the development of the region Sheikh Omar, public areas of the design, in terms of the scale, function, connectivity and quality of the open space network, is a highly important part of master plan - rather than open space comprising the spaces left over after the buildings have been laid out.

Sheikh Omar è uno dei 13 quartieri all'interno del Distretto Rusafa di Baghdad orientale. Alcune parti di Sheikh Omar si sono evoluti in comodità zone industriali bassi, che non fanno il miglior uso di una posizione e che tale centrale sono quindi essere trasferiti a nuovi insediamenti industriali più vicine ai margini della città .
