Abstract
This paper investigates the capability of an electromagnetic obstacle detection system for visually impaired persons, based on the use of a laboratory Ultra Wide Band (UWB) pulsed radar. Despite the fact that UWB pulsed radar is a laboratory system, not specifically designed for the daily mobility of visually impaired users, this work demonstrates the possibility of adopting it for that purposeI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
