We present a practical application of the floristic-vegetational indexes system for the evaluation of the environmental quality of agroecosystems (Taffetani and Rismondo, 2009; Rismondo et al., 2011; Taffetani et al., 2011). We analyzed an organic farm mainly characterized by orchards and hort crops. Within the farm area, we detected botanic species and phytocoenoses which are by now not very common in the agroecosystems. We also noticed a conservation status higher than the average related to the surrounding areas. This method is functional, as well as to compare the performance of farms characterized by different management methods, also to evaluate the enforcement efficiency of the rules for the protection of the agrobiodiversity.
