The paper presents an innovative pressure sensor matrix, designed for the purpose to be mounted on ergonomic handles so to be used to measure coupling forces during tool tests. Matrix design is discussed with reference to the specific intended use in hand-arm vibration. Static and dynamic metrological characteristics of the matrix are studied. Then the sensor is applied in a real series of tests with impact drills, in order to correlate grip to acceleration.

Abstract
The paper presents an innovative pressure sensor matrix, designed for the purpose to be mounted on ergonomic handles so to be used to measure coupling forces during tool tests. Matrix design is discussed with reference to the specific intended use in hand-arm vibration. Static and dynamic metrological characteristics of the matrix are studied. Then the sensor is applied in a real series of tests with impact drills, in order to correlate grip to acceleration.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
