This paper presents briefly the whole research activity that our group is carrying out about the plasma antenna topic. In particular the research is divided in three items: two of them concern the design and the realization of suitable networks for plasma generation, whereas the third item involves the development of a model for the analysis of the interaction between an electromagnetic wave and a ionized gas, and the measurements of the conductivity of the plasma column.
