ABSTRACT: In this paper some of the remedial works relative to an important landslide, which is still potentially unstable, are illustrated. Economic reasons have favored this type of solution, in which rather than attempting to stabilize the slope, protective structures for buildings and the necessary infrastructures are financed, and a vast continuous monitoring campaign contributes to maintain control of the overall situation. Some of the structures are here illustrated, together with certain innovative aspects regarding their construction, and some preliminary information and relative interpretation is reported pertaining to the first monitoring data which is now becoming available.
