A system for heart stimulation induced by a magnetic pulse has been designed. It is characterized by high intensity current pulses, and therefore safety may arise for operators and medical devices during its use. In particular, in this contribution safety considerations are analyzed and shielding actions are proposed in order to make cardiac stimulation available in hospital environment.
