Abstract Efficiency in safety management at construction sites is an extremely present issue despite the many technological advances that could represent valuable means of support. This is because safety is a complex, multifactorial field in which the human factor plays a central role. It is precisely for the latter reason that finding systems that integrate technology into processes in as natural a way as possible is a challenge to be met. In this context, this research aims to develop a Digital Twin that takes use of Natural Language Processing for supporting safety during construction site operations through communication improvement. © 2024 European Council on Computing in Construction.

Abstract

Abstract Efficiency in safety management at construction sites is an extremely present issue despite the many technological advances that could represent valuable means of support. This is because safety is a complex, multifactorial field in which the human factor plays a central role. It is precisely for the latter reason that finding systems that integrate technology into processes in as natural a way as possible is a challenge to be met. In this context, this research aims to develop a Digital Twin that takes use of Natural Language Processing for supporting safety during construction site operations through communication improvement. © 2024 European Council on Computing in Construction.
