Bridges play a primary role in the road and railway networks, as their inoperability due to damage or collapse following natural disasters or due to ageing, has great impact from both the social and the economic perspectives. For these reasons, an accurate control of their health conditions is of paramount importance, especially for bridges located on strategic roadways. This paper aims to present the first results obtained from the analysis of data collected from a Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system permanently installed on the Filomena Delli Castelli bridge in Central Italy. The monitoring system is firstly described and then data collected from permanently installed sensors are analysed to get the SHM of the bridge. In detail, the resonance frequencies and vibration modes of the bridge are detected and monitored over time by suitably taking into account effects of environmental parameters according to techniques for frequency normalization available in literature.
