Transnational entrepreneurship has become an important area of research in the entrepreneurship literature due to the mobility of entrepreneurs who are increasingly starting, operating, and expanding business activities across national borders. Using a hybrid literature review technique that includes bibliometrics and content analysis, 106 articles published between 1999 and 2022 were examined. The analysis was conducted from two perspectives: (i) the temporal perspective, to examine the evolution of the literature over time, and (ii) the thematic perspective, to highlight the major research themes. The study also discusses recent articles published since 2021 and highlights key research themes that could form the basis for potential future research.

Abstract
Transnational entrepreneurship has become an important area of research in the entrepreneurship literature due to the mobility of entrepreneurs who are increasingly starting, operating, and expanding business activities across national borders. Using a hybrid literature review technique that includes bibliometrics and content analysis, 106 articles published between 1999 and 2022 were examined. The analysis was conducted from two perspectives: (i) the temporal perspective, to examine the evolution of the literature over time, and (ii) the thematic perspective, to highlight the major research themes. The study also discusses recent articles published since 2021 and highlights key research themes that could form the basis for potential future research.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
