The paper presents the results of static and dynamic tests carried out during the final testing of the medium-span cable-stayed bridge recently build over the river Saline in the Abruzzo Region (Italy). The bridge has a steel-concrete composite deck of three spans of 42.6, 103.4 and 42.6 m for a total length of 188.6 m. During the different phases of the load tests, several response parameters were monitored to evaluate the overall static and dynamic behavior of the bridge, including deflections of the main girders, tensile stresses of strands, pylons and supports displacements, modal parameters, evaluated through Ambient Vibration Tests (AVTs), and air and road pavement temperature. Due to the deck flexibility, AVTs in both loaded and unloaded configurations, highlighted the role of vehicle loads on the bridge dynamics.

Abstract
Due to the deck flexibility, AVTs in both loaded and unloaded configurations, highlighted the role of vehicle loads on the bridge dynamics.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
