This paper reflects on the role of cultural heritage in times of CoVid-19 highlighting some of its specific issues: from a heritage at risk since the lockdown closed monuments and sites to an online entertainment for people living in quarantine, from an inactive inheritance to a resilient resource enabling also temporary medical uses. Starting from some case studies (especially OGR in Turin), it analyses pandemic impacts on heritage conservation as well as heritage inputs in building/conveying the memory of these global events in their tangible and intangible aspects.
