Abstract
In this paper, the performances of a source stirred reverberation chamber in considered: in particular, the multiple monopoles stirring technique was considered. An array of antennas was placed onto chambers’ walls and they were fed in two at time and changing the fed pair also the electromagnetic field configuration varies, so achieving the properties of uniformity, randomness and isotropy that allows to use the chamber as the measurement environment for an immunity test according to the standard EN6 1000-4-12, 2011. The performances of the chamber based on source stirring technique were compared to the most traditional stirring technique, the mechanical stirring obtained by a rotating paddle. This comparison was made by analyzing the result of numerical simulations, compared to the statistical analysis of a wide set of measurements.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
