A “Holistic” vision of the territory, that clearly differentiates the governance policies through differentiated investments between the Metropolitan areas, the Networks of intermediate cities and the Internal Areas, is one of Italy’s solutions to the main challenges of the European Community. Marche Region has started multi-regional and international strategic projects, in line with the European objectives of integration and territorial cohesion, such as the Trans-European Transport Network, in which the port of Ancona is one of the terminals of the Scandinavian-Mediterranean corridor or recognition of the Adriatic-Ionian Macro-Region, which will function as a catalyst for integration projects in the area, which includes eight Countries and the Italian regions, on the shores of the two seas. The different projects under European programs such as Interreg III B, I-Log and III A Galileo-net, Med, MarCo Polo II and various studies on the main dynamics of the movement of goods and people, have over the years defined a series of actions to raise awareness of the potential of the entire territorial system of Marche within the large transportation networks that characterize the Mediterranean basin. In this European framework, Marche is a natural border area for the experimentation of new resilient models of integration between the hinterland areas “of slow landscapes” and the “hinge territories” (hub) for transitional flows, in a holistic vision (Smart Urbanism?) that combines quality of life, social innovation, research and environmental rebalancing. These are the indicators with which in 2021 we will redefine the roadmap for Marche of the future, the paths and the results attained.

Abstract
These are the indicators with which in 2021 we will redefine the roadmap for Marche of the future, the paths and the results attained.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
