The EU-funded research project SEAM4US (Sustainable Energy Management for Underground Stations) is aimed at developing an advanced control system for subway stations, that has been implemented in a pilot metro station in Barcelona. To this aim, a large Whole Building Model was developed and is being calibrated. After a sensitivity analysis, and a first raw calibration aimed at identifying the main errors in the model, an evidencebased methodology was applied, including local investigations for the parameters that resulted more influential in the sensitivity analysis. This paper describes the calibration process. Preliminary results show that the WBM is compliant with the ASHRAE 14: 2002 requirements for calibration.
