Nowadays the Italian-Vietnamese program of cooperation at Università Poltecnica delle Marche is wide and concerns several fields such as the scientific research and the intervention on the territory. The group of cooperation operates in Vietnam since 1998, during this period it has involved many institutions and universities in Vietnam through many agreements with cultural and public centres. The cooperation has been realized thanks to support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trades and The Ministry of Education, University and Research. From several years they support UNIVPM in the research activity based on the improvement and recovery of Cultural Heritage in many Asian Countries, where the scientific study enables inter-university collaborations with public and private structures, in areas recognized and protected by UNESCO as Worldwide Heritage. The issues have usually been referred to drive the international awarness in order to encourage the multi-disciplinary dialogue for the protection of a delicate heritage and its memory. The paper focuses on the researches and on the activities which have been carried out to celebrate the year 2013 and the 40 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Italy, which was the first Country within the European Community in establishing diplomatic relations with Vietnam.
