Abstract

We present a coupled Maxwell-Schrodinger technique with the aim to analyze the electromagnetic field dynamics together with the quantum phenomena of carbon nanotubes. The Maxwell equations, discretized by the Transmission Line Method in a three-dimensional domain, are coupled to the Schrodinger equation and simultaneously solved. We study the dynamic of a charge wavepacket along a nanotube also in the case of an applied bias voltage
