Abstract

An object in a reverberation chamber can be analysed as the same object irradiated by a superposition of random plane waves. In this work the absorbed power of an object is calculated with an application of the finite differences time domain method with the same procedure applied successfully for microwaves ovens in the industrial heating. Numerical and experimental results for two wooden trunks are compared.
