Radial power combiners, that merge the power of N inputs in a single point, can provide low-losses and large-bandwidth solutions for high power and high performance devices. In this work, we provide a general formulation of the scattering parameters of power combiners having rotational symmetry, based on Floquet analysis and on proper use of the symmetry properties. Such analysis leads to a rigorous procedure that could be helpful to simplify both numerical simulation and design.

Abstract
Radial power combiners, that merge the power of N inputs in a single point, can provide low-losses and large-bandwidth solutions for high power and high performance devices. In this work, we provide a general formulation of the scattering parameters of power combiners having rotational symmetry, based on Floquet analysis and on proper use of the symmetry properties. Such analysis leads to a rigorous procedure that could be helpful to simplify both numerical simulation and design.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
