We are interested in the use of prediction algorithms of nonlinear time series analysis in the context of music. In particular, our target is to use prediction algorithms to simulate a musical style, to mimic a particular musical composition or to produce new music. Moreover, we introduce and discuss the use of some algorithms that may improve the quality of predictions both for simulating styles and composing.
